PLANT CITY RENOVATIONS UNDERWAY
“At this time, the Plant City Family Care site, located on 508 N. Maryland Ave. is under a complete renovation and expansion. A full Pharmacy and X-ray Department will be added to our services, and also a new section to take care of our daily walk- in patients. The project completion will be sometime in Spring.
PCFC staff is very pleased to be able to provide our community with "The Best Health Care under the Sun.”
GIVE KIDS A SMILE 
EVENT COMING TO RUSKIN HEALTH CENTER
We are very excited to announce that on Friday, February 3rd, Suncoast Community Health Centers will be hosting "Give Kids A Smile Day" in our Ruskin location, 2814 14th Ave., SE, Ruskin, beginning at 8 AM. This is an event sponsored by the Hillsborough County Dental Association. Volunteer dentists (including pediatric dentists) and dental hygienists will provide free dental care to unfunded children up through age 18. Eligibility for services include no dental insurance coverage and income requirement of 200% and above poverty level. SUNCOAST PEDIATRICS WELCOMES BACK DR. TAYAO
With the acquistion of Women & Childrens Community Heatlh Center, Dr. Tayao, Pediatrician, graciously lent her services for the last few months, while they established pediatric patient care. Effective, 1/16/12, she returns to Suncoast Pediatrics, which provides our patients with access to 3 pediatricians and one Nurse Practioner. This will allow waiting times to decrease and availabiity to increase! We look forward to serving you!

A year of hard work has ended and Suncoast can proudly add the title of Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare to its list of accomplishments. Recently Suncoast underwent a thorough review of policies, procedures and ways of caring for its patients and rose to the challenge! Suncoast Community Health Centers, Inc. have "raised the bar" on patient care and will continue to maintain the standards set by this organization. Way to Go!

SUNCOAST COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER, Chief Executive Officer
Bradley Herremans, former Chief Adminstrative Officer of Suncoast, has been promoted to the role of CEO. Mr. Herremans joined the Suncoast team three years ago and brought with him, over twenty years of healthcare experience and expertise. Mr. Herremans' served for the United States Air Force as Chief of Staff for the Surgeon General and in several managed care roles. Mr. Herremans' vision for the future of Suncoast, includes the expansion and renovation of facilities, as well as increasing access to care for members of the local community.
