_Our charges are similar to those of other health care providers in the area. However, at Suncoast, if the patient qualifies for a discount their bill may be adjusted by 25, 50 or 75%.
_ The federal grant covers the difference between the cost of the visit and the amount the patient is asked to pay.

 
  • Patients are seen by appointment or on a walk-in basis.
  • Appointments are available by calling the telephone numbers given for each site.
  • Walk-ins are triaged or screened and seen by the provider dependent on the urgency of the chief complaint. Fast-Track is also now available for patients with acute minor illness.

ALL Facilities except SCHC Pediatrics: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
Tuesday: 10:00a.m. to 7:00p.m.

SCHC Pediatrics:
Monday, Thursday and Friday:
7:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
Tuesday: 10:00a.m. to 7:00p.m.
Wednesday: 7:00a.m. to 12:00p.m.


_Suncoast provides care to anyone who wishes to use our services within our "catchment area". This year we will provide care to 20,000 patients during 90,000+ visits. Thirty percent of our patients are farmworkers and their families, 70% are area residents of all age groups, from newborns through geriatrics, in all income categories.
